Welcome to Servma. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Servma mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using Servma, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

1. About Servma

  • Servma is a digital marketplace that connects customers seeking home-related services with independent service providers.
  • Servma is not a service provider and does not directly perform any home services.
  • All services are provided by independent third-party providers.

2. Eligibility

  • To use Servma, you must:
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • Provide accurate and truthful information during registration
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements.

3. Account Registration

  • Users must:
  • Provide accurate information
  • Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Nature of the Platform

  • Servma:
  • Facilitates booking between customers and providers
  • May provide payment processing and escrow features
  • May verify identity through KYC processes
  • Servma does not guarantee:
  • Quality of services
  • Availability of providers
  • Completion of jobs
  • Outcomes of services rendered
  • All service agreements are between the customer and the provider.

5. Payments & Escrow

  • Payments may be processed through the Platform.
  • Funds may be held in escrow until job completion or dispute resolution.
  • Service fees may apply.
  • Servma may deduct commissions or processing fees.
  • Servma is not a bank or financial institution.
  • Refunds, partial releases, or adjustments may occur in accordance with our dispute resolution policy.

6. Independent Contractor Status

  • Providers are independent contractors.
  • Nothing in these Terms creates:
  • An employment relationship
  • A joint venture
  • An agency relationship
  • A partnership
  • Providers are solely responsible for:
  • Taxes
  • Licenses
  • Insurance
  • Regulatory compliance

7. Verification & KYC

  • Servma may conduct identity verification (e.g., government ID, biometric verification).
  • Verification does not guarantee:
  • Provider competence
  • Background integrity
  • Legal compliance
  • Users are encouraged to exercise independent judgment.

8. Disputes Between Users

  • Servma may offer a dispute resolution mechanism.
  • However:
  • We are not obligated to resolve disputes.
  • We may make discretionary decisions regarding escrow release.
  • Our decision shall be final for purposes of fund distribution.
  • Servma is not liable for service-related damages.

9. User Conduct

  • You agree not to:
  • Use the platform for illegal activities
  • Bypass the payment system
  • Harass or abuse other users
  • Provide false reviews
  • Manipulate ratings
  • Attempt fraud
  • Violation may result in suspension or permanent removal.

10. Platform Availability

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
  • The Platform may:
  • Experience downtime
  • Undergo maintenance
  • Be modified or discontinued
  • We are not liable for service interruptions.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law:
  • Servma shall not be liable for:
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of income or business
  • Property damage
  • Personal injury
  • Service dissatisfaction
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid to Servma in the past 3 months.

12. Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify and hold Servma harmless from claims arising from:
  • Your misuse of the Platform
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Disputes between users
  • Regulatory violations by providers

13. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion for:
  • Fraud
  • Misconduct
  • Legal violations
  • Risk to platform integrity
  • Users may close accounts at any time.

14. Governing Law

  • These Terms shall be governed by the laws of:
  • Federal Republic of Nigeria
  • Disputes shall be resolved in courts located in:
  • Lagos, Nigeria

15. Amendments

  • We may update these Terms at any time.
  • Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
